A THANKSGIVING Service, celebrating the centenary year of the Royal College of Nursing will be held on Thursday, May 12 - International Nurses’ Day - at The Mint Methodist Church, in Fore Street, Exeter, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

This inclusive service will be led by the Right Reverend Dame Sarah Mullally, Bishop of Crediton, who is a former Chief Nursing Officer for England.

Everyone is very welcome to attend from RCN members, their families, non-RCN members, people of all religions and those with no religion – the service is one of thanksgiving to nurses past, present and future.

The service, which will be followed by tea and coffee, will include a specially commissioned hymn written by Methodist minister Vince Canning and donated to the Royal College of Nursing to celebrate the centenary year.
