THE week beginning November 9 was Inter-faith Week at Hayward’s School.

Teacher Miss Hannah Down explained: “As a school we ‘virtually’ shared the book ‘All Are Welcome’ by Alexandra Penfold and Suzanne Kaufman and then each day we focused on one religion in our assemblies.

“Children completed knowledge organisers for each religion and posters to celebrate the British values of mutual respect and tolerance.

“Year Six children also planned, and held, a multi-faith wedding, considering how to include the traditions of more than one faith in a celebration.”
