AN inquest has opened into the death of a man who died at a house fire near Yeoford.

Married business owner Kym Pearce, 59, died after a fire was reported at Oxclose, Woodland Head on Sunday afternoon, August 2.

Emergency services attended the location in a joint response, and a body was located on the balcony.

His medical cause of death has not yet been ascertained.

The inquest was adjourned until a later date.
