CREDITON Postmaster, Chris Schnepp, has told the Courier that £325 was collected in donations for Devon Air Ambulance Trust in memory of Janet Shorland, a member of staff at Crediton Post Office.

Chris said: "We all at Crediton Post Office, in conjunction with Janet's husband, Mike Shorland, would like to thank all the people who donated money in honour of our colleague and friend, who passed away recently.

"Janet worked with us for eight years and was a valued member of our team. She was very conscientious and caring and she will be missed by everyone."
