TWO events coming up this month to raise funds for the Holy Cross Crediton Campaign Roof Appeal will feature a DVD presentation and a talk.
The first, on Sunday, February 21, at the Boniface Centre, will be a DVD showing in three parts about the 2004 Church Bells Restoration.
This will include voice overs by Les Burridge, Howard Egglestone, Vivian Summers and others.
Converted from a Powerpoint presentation, it uses a good number of the thousands of photographs of the project taken by Ed Rossmiller.
The presentation runs from 2pm to 4pm and admission is free but donations are welcomed. Light refreshments will be available.
The next event, on Wednesday, February 24 at 7.30pm, also in the Boniface Centre, will see DCI Dave Prywata, from Devon and Cornwall Police give a fascinating talk entitled A Murder Mystery - A Senior Officers Perspective.
Admission will be £10 and includes a supper.
Copies of the 2016 calendar are available until the end of February at the reduced cost of £5 from A E Lee Outfitters, the Crediton Courier offices, Cartoonz and the church shop. From March they will be available at the church shop for a further few weeks.
Funds raised so far for the Roof Appeal is £65,000.
