IMAGES of those who broke into a Crediton charity shop have been obtained from the shop’s CCTV.

During the night of Friday, May 21 or early hours of Saturday, May 22, the charity Refurnish Crediton in Mill Street, Crediton was broken into.

On social media on Saturday, May 22, the charity said: "We have very sad news - last night Refurnish Crediton was broken into and money was stolen.

"We know the robbers took a JCB knitted beanie hat from the store. If you recognise this hat or have any information please ring 101 and give crime ref CR/041377/21.

"You can give information anonymously if you wish or ring the shop on 01363 774577.

"It has a distinctive JCB logo so please keep a look out - they also took our Samsung CCTV recorder so please keep a look out for this.

"It may have been thrown over a hedge or in a bin so please help us by checking.

"Times are tough enough without things like this damaging our community so please help and thank you for your continued support."
