A HUSTINGS Event, where the public can hear answers to questions posed to candidates standing for the Central Devon constituency in the forthcoming General Election, will take place in the Drama Hall at Queen Elizabeth’s School’s Western Road Campus in Crediton on Tuesday, December 10.

Election candidates Lisa Robillard Webb (Labour), Mel Stride (Conservative), Alison Eden (Liberal Democrat) and Andy Williamson (Green) have confirmed they will be attending.

The hustings has been organised by staff at Queen Elizabeth’s School, assisted by some individuals in the town.

Admission will be free-of-charge from 6.15pm.

There will be a prompt start at 6.30pm.

Early indications suggest that popular topics will be Climate Change, Education, Social Care, Agriculture and sustainable food, and (just possibly) Brexit!
