THE gardens at Fursdon House will be open once again, in aid of Hospiscare on Wednesday, July 28 as part of a charity afternoon.

Local charity, Hospiscare has supported people with life-limiting illnesses for almost 40 years, providing support at home, a specialist palliative day ward, day hospices and end-of-life care to terminally ill patients in the Exeter, Mid and East Devon areas.

Supporting more than 2,000 people each year, in some of the hardest times possible, Hospiscare needs to raise around £8 million a year to continue to provide care, and relies on the generous support of local people and communities.

With all garden ticket proceeds going to Hospiscare on the day, this is a fabulous way for visitors to lend their support to this charity while enjoying the peaceful hillside gardens at Fursdon.

The Coach Hall tea-room will be open as usual selling homemade teas. Additionally, the house will be open for tours, the first house opening since 2019.
