CREDITON Arts Centre has again brightened up Crediton High Street and other parts of the town with flags created as part of the Crediton Flag Project last year and many new additions going up this week. The flags, created by local businesses and voluntary groups with the support of the Arts Centre, added to from last year with 15 new ones, bring the total to 55 large flags and seven smaller ones. They were put up with the help of volunteers, including members of the Tanglewood Project, who made the flag poles. The flags will provide a colourful backdrop to various events taking place in the town, including the Flower Festival (May 31 to June 5), the Food Festival (June 14 and 15) and the Music Market (July 5).
