HELEN Smith’s MacMillan Coffee Morning held at her home at Coldridge on Saturday, September 28 was a huge success and the total collected so far which stands at £250.50, exceeds all previous years.

Credit for this success goes to all who provided an abundance of draw prizes including a generous and attractive contribution from Tesco at Crediton and, especially to who attended, bought raffle tickets and gave so generously on the day.

Thanks must go to the cake-makers, such that there was a dining table groaning under the weight of a lovely variety of delicious cakes.

A special thank you goes to Jean for all her hard work in the kitchen. Finally, well done to everyone involved and, especially to Helen for hosting it and for doing a lot of baking herself.

A brilliant result with more donations still to come in from some of those who couldn’t attend.
