A CHRISTMAS Fayre, which was held at Hayward’s Primary School, was a huge success.

The event, which was organised by Friends of Hayward’s School (PTA) was held in the school hall and in the old Youth Centre building.

There were lots of festive stalls and activities including a Santa hoop-la and “Elfies” where people could dress-up in Christmas outfits and take a “selfie.”

Children’s activities included making a gift in secret and making Christmas gift tags. Many children queued in eager anticipation of seeing Father Christmas in his grotto.

Mulled wine and cider were served and staff from the Crediton Tesco store at Wellparks provided hot chocolate.
