PUPILS AT Hayward’s Primary School in Crediton marked Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27.
The theme this year was “Ordinary People” and c hildren in KS2 thought about how ordinary people were perpetrators, heroes, and victims of the Holocaust.
They also spent time considering the role we all play in challenging prejudice. With the poem “Butterfly” by Pavel Friedmann as inspiration, every child made a purple butterfly to celebrate freedom.
