Harvest supper enjoyed at Sandford

AFTER an absence of a few years, the Sandford St Swithun’s harvest supper has finally returned.

Everyone agreed that they had been well fed on the evening, with entertainment supplied by the Chudleigh Shantymen.

Huge thanks go to Rita and Jim King, the main organisers, and to Keith Stanlake for managing the finances.

The profit achieved was a whopping £1,012, to be split between Devon Air Ambulance and also much needed funds to improve the cobbled paths in the churchyard.
