ST Matthew’s Church at Cheriton Fitzpaine was packed for a concert given by internationally acclaimed solo harpist, Lily Neill. Lily had been booked six months prior to the event by the Friends of St Matthews and told us something of her life travelling the world (with harp!) between classical and folk renditions.

We were amazed when, at the end, she played two requests - from memory!

Ticket sales for the Concert raised more than £500 for the Friends, who wish to thank everyone who helped in any way - especially our Community Shop who sold tickets for the event.

Comments from concert-goers included "Words cannot describe how incredible she was”; "Wow, I’m still speechless” and "Amazing - and red shoes too!"
