DARE you come out on a dark, dark night, when the undead roam, the ghoulish play, and the wandering spirits of evil search out the tempted…
If you dare, you will witness the resurrection of local band, The Lurv Handles, thought to be extinct in 2015, yet rising majestically from the grave to assault a limited number of willing disciples, with their “in your face” brand of 70’s based killers and rocking Hallowe’en tunes.
Disciples need only manifest themselves in Simon Lee’s or Olivia James emporiums to avail themselves of a widely sought-after ticket for the paltry sum of £5 (all proceeds to ELF, Exeter Leukaemia Fund) and ensure themselves of dancing, singing, joy and musical majesty.
There will be lasers, there will be smoke, there will be more lights than a stick can be shaken at.
There will be a purveyor of alcoholic beverage, and best of all there will be a glitter ball.
So Hallowe’en up, 70’s up, or maybe an evil concoction of them both, and rock up to Sandford Parish Hall on Saturday, October 28, when the “Sensational Hallowe’en 70’s Night” takes place from 8pm to midnight.
Sorry, this event, which is organised by Crediton ELF Fundraising Group, is too scary for Under 16’s.
