Had they been counting sheep?

GRAHAM Pearcey is a gem. He has been the main one to organise the traffic counts for Crediton Traffic Action Group.

I did a two hour stint on Exeter Road and was horrified to see how much traffic uses Exeter Road and that did not include the school buses - it was half-term.

We are to do another count in Exeter Road. A few years ago when Devon County Council did a traffic count I was amused to see two counters asleep, so how many did they miss? When I asked how many they had missed they said "none".

We have done a lot of work for Crediton, so please do not think nothing has been done - it has.

There have been many people who have given their time for traffic counting for the benefit of the residents in Exeter Road.

Their efforts have been very much appreciated by me even if they rest of Exeter Road do not "participate".
