GUESTS at Age Concern Crediton & District had a very “egg-citing” morning when they were visited by Farmer Jess, Maggie Moo and her young Moo’vers from Moo Music in Crediton.

Lots of fun was had by all during their second visit this year, with singing, makaton signing, dancing, exploring different musical instruments and creating Easter head-pieces!

Everyone then enjoyed a nice cuppa and slice of cake made by Lynn from Stevie B’s Bakery.

Moo Music Crediton is a great, fun and interactive regular music session for 0-5 year olds and their parents, grandparents or carers too, where the children sing, dance, play, learn and have fun whilst doing it!

Age Concern’s services are provided as a response to the needs of older people in the Crediton area.

The Day Centre in Deep Lane operates from Monday to Friday from 10am to 2.30pm providing transport to and from home, a wide range of activities and occasional outings, which gives stimulation, a sense of purpose, self-worth, social contact and enjoyment.

A two course homemade lunch is included in the day. The centre is dementia friendly and wheelchair accessible.

There is also a Home Support service which can include an hour’s befriending at the person’s home, a cleaning service or assistance with shopping.
