GROUP ticket organisers across the region are being encouraged to book tickets for one of the South West’s most iconic events, showcasing the very best of farming, food and rural life.

Groups that wish to visit together – which could include clubs, colleagues, groups of friends, societies, WIs and charitable organisations - can now take advantage of a range of discounts and benefits for bookings of 10 or more people.

The Devon County Show (which this year takes place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 17 to 19) appeals to people of all ages and interests who enjoy getting up close to top quality livestock, tasting exceptional food and drink and experiencing rural living at its most vibrant.

The event promises a thrilling programme of day-long entertainment each day.

Visitors should get ready to buckle up for a monster ride with the UK’s number one Monster Truck team and have-a-go at driving a tractor!

This year is the 123rd anniversary of the show and this there will be a special parade, celebrating 60 years of the Massey Ferguson tractor.

A discounted price of £18 per ticket is available for all group bookings of 10 or more people - and, for every 10 tickets booked, the purchaser will receive two free tickets. Plus, up to two children (aged 5-15) per adult are admitted free if booked for Saturday, May 19.

Other benefits include free coach driver admission and meal voucher (when booked in advance) and free coach parking in designated coach parks and shuttle bus return for the driver.
