THIS year the Alzheimer’s Society celebrates its 40th anniversary.

The charity’s Crediton Singing for the Brain group marked the occasion in conjunction with the celebration of the group’s eighth birthday.

Since Alzheimer’s Society’s origins in 1979, it has reached hundreds and thousands of people with its services, changed the conversation on dementia, invested millions in research and campaigned hard for people affected by the condition to have the support they deserve.

Anyone affected by dementia is welcome to attend the Crediton Singing for the Brain group which meets on the first and third Thursday of every month at 10am at The Boniface Centre, Church Lane, EX17 2AH.
