A CHANCE to tell stories of your family and its part in the Great War, 1914-1919, comes on February 4 when Crediton Area History and Museum Society holds another open day.
Full details of this, and a host of other diary dates are in the January issue of its newsletter.
These include tracing the origins and development of Exeter and London in Roman times, David Coram talking about 60 years in business in Crediton, 19th century field names, land use and ownership at Kennerleigh and a talk about Victorian plant hunters.
It is an interesting newsletter. To find out more, either call at the Museum in the Old Town Hall, check out the website, or go to the open day on February 4 or the coffee morning at the Museum on February 22.
