Oliver’s Bakery at 24 High Street, Crediton was very successful in the Western Region Bakery Championships 2015 run by Bako Western Ltd.

The bakery received a number of awards: 1 – Harvest Wheatsheaf, 1 - Muffins, 2 – Cup cakes, 3 - Almond goods and 3 – Fruit Pie.

Oliver’s Bakery employee, Milosz Radominski also had success in the Trainee classes: Ist Oven bottom bloomer, 1 - Currant teacakes, 1 - Swiss buns, 2 - Jam Swiss roll and 3 - Danish pastries.

Milosz has worked at Oliver’s Bakery for six months. When he started working as a baker he had no previous experience and says: ” It was a hobby turned into a job.”

His daughter, Jagoda Radominski (6), won a first prize in the edible animal or insect class with a beautiful butterfly.
