New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Mid Devon’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Thorverton Cricket Club, a pub, bar or nightclub at Thorverton Cricket Club Thorverton Devon was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 19.

And Ventrus, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at St Andrews Primary School St Andrews Estate Cullompton Devon was also given a score of five on November 17.
