DURING the Summer holidays Crediton Youth Theatre will rehearse and perform a fantastic musical play, "The Snatchers", based on woodland folklore and English history.

Set during the Civil War, the play follows the fortunes of the Aristocratic Wintour family.

They are opposed by a group of local charcoal burners and a mysterious band of woodland spirits, the Snatchers, as they vie for the future of their beloved forest. Full of intrigue, magic, tension and catchy songs this promises to be a show not to be missed!

"The Snatchers" will be performed on Friday, August 13 at 7.30pm and Saturday, August 14 at 4pm and 7.30pm.

The performance will be outside in the car park of Crediton Parish Church, Church Street, Crediton EX17 2AH.
