ON Bank Holiday Monday, August 31 at 2pm, Sandford will open the doors to its annual Summer Show at the Parish Hall.

This year’s competition has something for everyone. With categories specifically aimed at primary school children and those under 16, there are no age limits and plenty of opportunities to win prizes.

It has been a challenging year for growing any fruit and vegetables this summer but at least everyone is in the same boat.

The organisers are keen to see your best efforts in spite of the weather!

The same goes for all those crafters, floral artists, bakers, cooks and photographers.

It is hoped that many of the creative locals will bring their entries to delight the judges and visitors.
