A SMALL group gathered in the sunshine at the entrance to the churchyard at Crediton Parish Church for the Dedication of the Garden of Remembrance on Saturday morning, October 30.
The Rector, the Rev Matthew Tregenza conducted the short ceremony, everyone stopping to remember at 11am.
Mr Tregenza hoped people passing by, especially the schoolchildren, would reflect on the meaning of the poppy crosses planted there.
People at the Dedication included Crediton branch Royal British Legion President John Shaw, chairman Pam Dobson, vice chairman John Higgs, and the Standard Bearer Mike May with the Poppy Appeal Organiser Jane Sansom.
