AT the recent market held at Cheriton Fitzpaine Parish Hall, Terry Meakin, Chairman of the Cheriton Fitzpaine short mat bowls club ran an oddments stall, which attracted quite a lot of attention.

Terry was raising money for the club, which celebrates its 21st Birthday on Saturday, July 6 from 2pm to 5pm, when anyone can go along and "see what it’s all about”. Tea and cake will be provided and entry is free.
