WITH one year to go until Cheriton Fitzpaine puts on its two-yearly carnival, the organising committee is organising a special “One year to Carnival event”.

Taking place at the Parish Hall on Saturday, July 13 from 7pm to midnight, there will be lots to enjoy for all the family.

Live music will come from “Electric Spank”, there will be a family disco until midnight, a hog roast, licensed bar and ice cream.

Carnival themed fancy dress is encouraged with children and adult prizes to be won.

Tickets, priced at £5 (adults), £2 (children eight to 18) with under eight’s free, are available from Cheriton Fitzpaine Community Shop, Thorne’s Farm Shop, the village primary school and all carnival committee members.
