EGGESFORD Hunt Supporters’ Club is holding a Country Show at Crooke Meadow, North Tawton (EX20 2BJ) on Sunday, June 17.

There will be a terrier, lurcher and family dog show and all-day scurry racing.

Gates open at 11.30am and showing will begin at 12.30pm.

There will also be vintage tractors and lorries, stationary engines, classic cars and motorcycles on display.

A barbecue, bar and music from “The Honest John Band”, cream teas, bouncy castle, slide, face painting etc will all be part of this one-day show.

An added attraction which proved popular last year is the chance to enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides and trailer trips around the Den Brook wind farm turbines.

Admission is £3 for adults and free for children under 16. Donations are also welcome for the Friends of Bow and North Tawton Surgery.
