IT was a joy for the 30 people who had the privilege of being entertained and informed by Bruce Evans of Grape & Grain and Stuart Dowle of Quicke’s Traditional Ltd at the Friends of Crediton Library’s Cheese and Wine evening.
These two local artisans, who are masters of their art, complemented each other beautifully just like the wine and cheeses they offered.
Six wines and a number of cheeses were tasted, but equally enjoyed was the humour and detailed expert knowledge of the two presenters.
It was great fun and a very "merry" evening for all who attended.
Their passion and professionalism underlined the need for all of us to support these local providers as much as we can.
The money raised will be used to support the redevelopment and improvement of the outdoor area of Crediton Library.
The FoCL are currently looking for a new Chairperson who can help with the challenge of taking this project forward in the coming two years.
The FoCL can be contacted at the library through Sue Lee, the Library Supervisor.
