A SUMMER Evening concert entitled "Raise the Roof" at St Swithun’s Church, Shobrooke, on Saturday, August 31, will feature the popular singing group, Crediton Singers.

The concert, which is open to all, will begin at 7pm and end at 9pm.

The programme will include a very special evening of popular songs and admission will be free-of-charge, but donations would be welcomed in aid of the parish church roof fund.

Free transport is available to and from the the concert, from Crediton and the Shobrooke area, if required, and this can be booked via White Swan Taxi Service on 01363 777786 or 07928 115421.

Alternatively, catch the free coach at 6.40pm at the stop near Lloyds Bank or at Buccaneers Bar in Crediton.

Return coach travel will take place after the concert to the same locations.

Free refreshments, a programme and song sheets will be available at the event.

Similar previous concerts have been a great success.
