Freddie Hubber (8) of Crediton wanted to do something to raise money to support the people of Ukraine after seeing the fighting on the television, so he decided that he would like to make posters and sell “Ukraine” cupcakes.

Freddie set himself a target of selling 100 cupcakes at £1 each.

He exceeded this within the first two days and is now well on his way to selling 200.

Freddie visited Hazel Evely, the Community Champion, at the Crediton Morrison’s store who donated some of the ingredients for him to make the cakes.

He then set to work (with a little help from his mum) making and decorating the cupcakes with the Ukrainian flag or a sunflower.

Freddie has been busy delivering his cakes around town during the week.
