BOOK enthusiast Frank (7) was delighted to receive his certificate for reading 100 books, since September 2021, on the Secret Book Quest challenge at Crediton Library.

Frank is the first to have reached the 100 mark in the Secret Book Quest at Crediton Library.

The Secret Book Quest is a new reading challenge which involves reading a set number of books to collect all the stickers, decipher the code, and win a special prize.

Frank is a pupil at Landscore Primary School in Crediton where his favourite subject is Maths.

His favourite books are the French comic book series “Asterix”, created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo and “The Adventures of Tintin” written by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé.

In his spare time Frank enjoys playing football for Crediton Youth U8s and also attends Beavers.

Library supervisor, Sue Lee said: “It’s been a pleasure listening to Frank talk about the books he has read and he has already read four books towards his next goal of 150 books!”
