A NUMBER of First Crediton Scouts are celebrating after receiving Scouting’s highest achievement during the past 12 months.

Nathaniel Scarbrough, Edward Mortimer, Holly Pickett, John Turner, Liam Bayley and Jacob Jackson have all received the Chief Scouts Gold Award.

This is the highest award a Scout can achieve and takes a lot of commitment in many different activities including camps, parades, outdoor cooking, fire lighting and hiking etc.
