SARAH Snell, from Crediton, who has been busily sewing masks and face coverings, which she sold in aid of local charity, Pete’s Dragons, says she is pleased to report that she has been able to donate £870 to the charity to-date.

She was recently sent a certificate and has been invited to visit the charity’s headquarters in August.

Pete’s Dragons helps people and families after someone has committed suicide.

Sarah said: “I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that helped me raise this large amount of money for the charity and also Karen Todd for helping me by donating cotton and elastic when I ran short.

“Also thanks to Carol Prince for donating elastic and Nadia Cainey, Sarah Clarke and Suzy Lambert for donating material.”

Sarah added that she still has masks available in aid of the charity if required and if so, please telephone her on 07870 425275.
