THANKS to someone’s vision, a lot of hard work and some generous donations, a small eye catching improvement is taking place at the corner of Greenway and Landscore in Crediton.

This was planned during the lockdown and started soon after it was lifted.

The corner has been neglected for some considerable time so the initial preparation was down to some hard work digging, and with invaluable help from Bob and Simon Brooks of RJ Brooks and Son Ltd.

The imagination comes from Sustainable Crediton and in particular the Pollinator Group whose knowledge has been put to good use in the selection of the various plants.

Hopefully by next Summer this will be a really grand splash of colour and a hive of industry for insect life.

The plants were donated by local residents and "Granny’s Meadow", thanks to Simon O’Sullivan.

Many people who put time and effort into the project.

The photograph shows the folk who have put their time and efforts into this really delightful project.  Martín Payne, Marion Whitley, Alison Orchard and Simon O’Sullivan.

Thanks also went to Jason and Theresa Boyle of Landscore for their invaluable contribution to the project.
