CHILDREN at Crediton Library were delighted when facilitators from Exmoor Zoo paid a visit with some of their animals during The Big Friendly Read, a Roald Dahl themed Summer Reading Challenge.

The two facilitators from Exmouth Zoo, Steve and Steve, dressed-up as characters from Roald Dahl books for the event.

Children were able to get up-close and touch many of the animals including a tenrec hedgehog and a bearded dragon.

Other animals included a snake, tortoise and millipedes and related to Roald Dahl stories.
