PLANS for this years Tedburn Fair on Saturday, September 10 are well underway, and with an exciting line up of entertainment, it’s a day not to be missed!

Live entertainment in the Main Ring and on the Village Green will be from Moretonhampstead Motorcycle Trials Display Team, a Donkey Derby plus music from Tedburn Community Choir and a selection of live bands.

There will also be laser clays, archery, shire horse shoeing, vintage vehicle displays, tractors rides, slackline, skittles, car boot sale, a bouncy castle and much more!

In the Village Square at the Fair, visitors will be able to sample and buy from local suppliers, but don’t forget to stop by the craft traders and the WI tent, for a delicious cream tea or a tasty slice of cake!

The public are invited to get involved and enter into the flower and local produce competitions.

With a wide variety of classes to choose from, there is something for everyone, whether you are a novice or an expert, the show organisers would love to see your talents!

At the show you can also go along to the "Village Farm" where you will see a display of friends, both furry and feathered!

Alternatively, why not enter your pooch into the popular family dog show, which has fun classes such as Waggiest tail, Best child handler, Dog most like it’s owner and Best veteran?

Entering the competition is easy, just take your dog and enter on the day.

Tedburn Fair also includes a range of competitions in handicraft, cookery, floral displays, etc and competition entry forms are available from the Tedburn Village Shop.

Hundreds of people traditionally attend the Fair and the organisers truly appreciate the support from local residents and visitors who attend from further afield.

They hope to see you again this year!

Tedburn Fair will start at 12 noon, when the entrance fee will be £5 for adults and it is free for children under 14 with an accompanying adult.
