STORIES and Conversation is a brand new project being developed as part of the Westbank Healthy Neighbourhoods Project in Crediton.
Katheryn Hope, activity and volunteer co-ordinator, Westbank, is setting up a regular Story and Conversation group for all ages whether aged from 18 to 80, together with Crediton Community Bookshop.
Katheryn said: “Telling your story has been shown to promote well-being.
"It helps people bond and stimulates memory and imagination, as well as confidence.
"It’s a lovely way to spend time together too, and also to find out about others in your community.”
Join us for this friendly and fun group to share your stories, anecdotes and experiences or just sit and listen.
Refreshments are provided and it costs just £2 per session.
The group meets at the Bookshop on every second Wednesday of the month, from 11am to 12.30pm, so the next one is on July 10. Why not go along!
Contact Co-ordinator Katheryn Hope on 01395 446896 or email her at: [email protected] to find out more and tell her you will be going along.
