PAUL Conabeare, of Evans Newsagents has decorated one window of the newsagents to mark Remembrance Day.
In the window is a copy of a newspaper containing Letters from the Trenches, an article about the Battle of the Somme and another about the Battlefield Debut of the Tank.
There is also a knitted wreath and knitted items representing the Armed Forces provided by Jane Sansom, Crediton Branch Royal British Legion Poppy Organiser.
A framed copy of a war-time poster features in the display along with other memorabilia.
Paul has displayed the treasured medals of his grandad, William George Conabeare who was a Royal Navy man for 25 years. All his brothers also served in the Armed Forces.
The window serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by so many.
