Estate agent Amy breaks firm’s 316 year record

AWARD-winning estate agents, Helmores, of Crediton. has broken an all-time record by scoring the highest number of agreed sales in a month in more than 300 years.

Amy Salter, a sales negotiator at Helmores, agreed 16 sales in the month of October, the highest in the 316 year history of the mid-Devon estate agency.

This also comes shortly after Amy, the youngest member of the Helmores team, won a major regional prize at The Property Sharing Experts Gala Awards ceremony and a Bronze Award at the AllAgents 2015 Awards.

Ian Blanchford, Helmores’ office manager - and the previous record breaker - is thrilled for Amy: “I’m over the moon for Amy, her progression within the role over the last 18 months has been meteoric with October’s result the icing on the cake!

“Her hard work and determination has given her the platform and her negotiation skills have not only tied the sales up, but kept them together too. It’s lovely to see and I was cheering her on, even if it was to overtake my record of 15 sales from July 2013! What a year, I’m excited to see what 2016 brings for her.”

Owner of Helmores, Phil Morgan, added; “We pride ourselves on nurturing our team in every way we can.

“Amy is no exception to that rule; she joined us in 2013 having lived in Crediton all her life and has really impressed us with her development and dedication. She is one of the youngest members of our team but her attention to detail and ability to obtain accurate information from clients is exemplary and a key aspect of the smooth and successful sales for which Helmores is well-known.

“I am delighted that she is thriving with us and now that she has broken Ian’s impressive record the competition’s on!”
