TIVERTON based Acoustic Folkrock Band, “The Seagulls”, will be playing in the Crediton Town Square on Saturday, April 18, from 10am to 1pm.

The band comprises John Chumbley: Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Banjo, Lead Vocals. John Joyce (JJ): Harmonicas, Acoustic Guitar, Lead and Backing Vocals. Marty Kenney: Bass Guitar, Bodhran, Backing and Lead Vocals.

The band plays a wide range of music from Neil Young, Van Morrison, Lindisfarne, The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan through to Oasis, The Zombies, Soft Cell, Traditional Irish Songs and Self Penned Songs also!

John and Martyn began playing covers together in 2014 (including an earlier incarnation of The Seagulls) with John linking up in 2016.
