THE celebrated City of Bath Male Choir from the BBC "Last Choir Standing" TV show will be performing at Crediton Congregational Church on Saturday, July 15.
The choir received world-wide acclaim when it reached the final stages of the BBC’s popular amateur choir.
Since that time the Choir has toured Europe as well as visiting Japan and the USA on two occasions.

Most recently the Choir was in Nashville in October 2022 singing to sell-out audiences in Tennessee.
The concert at Crediton supports the Blue Skye Thinking Charity that supports research into the treatment of childhood tumors. The charity was the choice of members from the Mid Devon Good Afternoon Choir, a new community choir that started singing together last year, led by local music-man Jon Rawles.
Common denominator between the two choirs is Grenville Jones who lives in Bath and is the founder of the Bath Male Choir as well as the Good Afternoon Choirs that now stretch across the West of England from Gloucester to Cornwall.
More than 1,000 people sing in Grenville’s choirs.
Jon Rawles, the Mid Devon Good Afternoon Choir conductor, said: “Our Mid Devon Good Afternoon Choir meet every Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm at Crediton Congregational Church and we always welcome new prospective members.
"There are no auditions, great music and this concert with the famous Bath Male Choir will be our very first public performance, so we are really looking forward to it.”
The concert will take place at 7.30pm with tickets now available online priced £10 from: https://gac.ticketlight.co.uk/ .
This promises to be a fabulous night of music with the rare opportunity to hear one of the UK’s best-loved choirs which is famous for its "standing ovations!"
