A CORNWALL-BASED comic poet, humorist and singer is coming to Crediton.
Rob Barratt, who is “renowned for his “brain-tickling, word-mangling performance combining word play, verse and song with satire, parody and audience participation”, will entertain at Crediton Arts Centre on Friday, June 27 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
“In recent years Rob has appeared at folk, literature and arts festivals all over the British Isles and Australia,” a spokesperson said.
“He deals with such important topics as squid, Neanderthal politics, the weather in Scotland, pissoirs and his relationship with potatoes, but beneath the humour lurk serious issues.”
Crediton Arts Centre can be found on East Street in the town.
