CREDITON bookshop The Bookery is delighted to welcome back local author Stephanie Austin for a special book-signing event celebrating the launch of her latest cosy crime novel, “How to Get Murdered in Devon”.
Taking place on Saturday, November 8 from 11am to 12.30pm, this free ticketed event offers readers the chance to meet Stephanie, hear more about her writing process, and get signed copies of her newest release in the popular Devon Mysteries series.
“How to Get Murdered in Devon” follows amateur sleuth and antique dealer Juno Browne, whose latest adventure begins with the shocking discovery of a dead body in the boot of a car. As Juno investigates, she uncovers a tangled web of secrets involving a missing woman, a notorious local family, and a long-lost red diamond. With twists, humour, and a vividly drawn Devon setting, this ninth instalment in the series is a gripping and atmospheric read.
Stephanie Austin has enjoyed a varied career as an artist and antiques trader and previously worked with the Devon Schools Library Service. When not writing, she is actively involved in amateur theatre as a director and actor, and lives locally in Devon.
