HAWK and Hill Theatre bring their fairy tale for all ages, “Lost In The Woods”, to Crediton Arts Centre on Friday, June 10, at 7.30pm.

It is a re-imagining of the classic fairy-tales of the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen, told through the eyes and minds of a middle aged Hansel and Gretel, who have been lost in the woods ever since they ran away from home when they were kids.

This two-hander is a fast-paced, comedic and energetic show, bringing everyone’s favourite fairy-tale characters to life through shadow play, physical theatre, voiceover, music and laughter.

Armed with a suitcase full of everyday objects, Hansel and Gretel have to dive into stories that are not their own, telling rival fairy-tales with the help of whatever comes to hand.

The show is written and performed by Hila Meckier from Israel and Arran Hawkins from the UK, who started working together in Berlin before lockdown, so truly European style of theatrical experience is on offer.

Tickets at £10 (£8 concessions) are available from: www.ticketsource.co.uk/creditonartscentre .
