AFTER a quiet August, there are three events to suit all tastes taking place in Crediton Parish Church or the Boniface Centre during September.
On Saturday, September 5, from 10am to 1pm, there is one of our popular Craft Fairs with over 20 crafters selling a wide variety of items.
These include ceramics, jewellery, home decor items, photography and gifts plus delicious home baking. Come and shop early for Christmas! Refreshments served throughout.
In the evening of the same day, Saturday, September 5 at 6.30pm for a prompt start at 7pm, there is a quiz and pasty supper evening for teams of 4 to 6 people at £10 adult (£5 children).
Book in your team with Mandy at [email protected] or 07590 374429. Bar and raffle.
Finally, on Saturday, September 19, the parish church is the venue for a Candlelit (LED) Concert celebrating the music of the group Coldplay which will be staged by Lumos Experiences.
The first concert is at 7pm and it is then repeated at 9pm. Do look the concert up online where you can also obtain tickets.
Please note that there is NO PARKING available for these concerts.
The church car park is needed for those attending a large event taking place in the Boniface Centre which was booked many months ago. Please respect this request and park elsewhere.
• Prior to September, the next session of ‘Going for a Sing’ will take place on Friday, August 21 at 10.30am in the Boniface Centre.
Everyone will be singing songs by artists whose name begins with ‘D’.
It is not a choir, just an informal group of people that enjoy singing.
Singing is considered to be good for our wellbeing so do go along and join in.
Song words and refreshments are provided. There is no charge but donations are welcome towards costs.
