THE wonderfully talented Crediton Town Band will stage its Spring Concert at Crediton Parish Church from 2.30pm on Sunday, May 18.

The audience will be in for a treat when it listens to the talented band of local people of all ages and abilities who enjoy playing music together.

Crediton Town Band is a great asset to the town and area, it is a non-contesting brass band which concentrates on playing concerts and community events throughout the year.

In addition, those who go along will be pleased to know that the Town Band has invited Crediton Youth Orchestra to also perform at the Spring Concert.

Tickets for the concert will be available at the door at £10 each.

Everyone is welcome to go along and it promises to be a great afternoon.

The Band meets for rehearsal most Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Hayward’s Primary School.

Iorwerth Pugh is the Musical Director with President Paul Evans and Chairman Chris Richards.

New players (particularly Cornets) are welcome to join if prepared to join in and double-up on parts where the band needs extra resilience for engagements.
