THE Saint Boniface Concert Society is delighted to welcome the Delphine Trio to play in Crediton Parish Church on Sunday, June 21 at 3.00pm.
The Delphine Trio is an exciting group of young musicians, founded in 2020 at the Royal College of Music.
They will be playing works by Beethoven, Leighton, Frühling and John Psathas.
To quote from Classical Music Daily, “…the Delphine Trio looks set to become a major presence, with playing and programming full of vitality and imagination.”
In February 2024, they released their debut album ‘Adrift’, which was widely praised for “shining a light on some beautiful hidden gems of the clarinet trio repertoire".
The Delphine Trio were Artists in Residence at Leighton House, London, 2023-24.
Their performances in the UK include Buxton International Festival and the Royal Albert Hall Classical Coffee Morning Series.
In the Netherlands they have played live on NPO Radio Klassiek numerous times, and in the Amsterdam Grachtenfestival.
Tickets are available from A E Lee Outfitters, High Street, Crediton, online from www.ticketsource.co.uk or on the door. The ticket price is £18, (£15 to ‘Friends’ of the Society), FREE to full-time students under 30.
All are welcome and there will be free parking and disabled access.

The Saint Boniface Concert Society is a local charity dedicated to bringing top-flight professional musicians to Crediton. Its concerts are supported by ‘Making Music’ and Crediton Town Council. This concert is supported by the Philip and Dorothy Green Young Artists Trust.
