JOIN us for an evening of gripping crime fiction as Tim Weaver, the million-copy bestselling author of the David Raker series, comes to The Bookery to discuss his latest thriller, The Lost Women.

Tim Weaver will be joined in conversation by friend of The Bookery Holly Watt. With the book launching the same week as this event, customers will be amongst the first in the country to hear about the story, buy a signed copy and meet Tim Weaver in person.

The Lost Women begins with a shocking twist: following a car accident, Preston Stewart goes in for surgery on his face. But when the bandages are removed, his wife Ellie knows something is wrong. It’s not her husband.

Sixteen years earlier, Zauna Roy’s older brother Marco vanished when she was 10. Years later, she begins looking into his disappearance with documentary makers Anna and Sydney.

A month later, all three women disappear without trace. Now, as missing persons investigator David Raker looks into Preston Stewart’s case, he uncovers a chilling link to the vanished women—and a more sinister connection that will reunite him with someone from his past.

Tim Weaver is the Sunday Times bestselling author of 15 novels, including No One Home, The Blackbird and The Last Goodbye. He also hosts the chart-topping Missing podcast and is developing a TV series with the creators of Line of Duty. Over 1.5 million copies of his books have been sold worldwide.

Holly Watt is an award-winning investigative journalist and novelist who has worked for the Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian.

Both authors will be available to meet with customers and sign books at the end of the evening.

Tickets cost £6 and are available from The Bookery or online: thebookery.org.uk.
