IT was pretty ambitious last year to put on a Festival of Short Films in Zeal Monachorum Village Hall but one that paid off with a full house and a great selection of movies.

Now on Saturday, September 27, the Second Festival of Short Films arrives, with doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, entrance £5.

Erica Eden, Zeal Monachorum Village Hall chair said: “There’ll be free home-made popcorn and, as no film night is complete without choc ices, these will be on sale at the interval, drinks will be available for a donation.
